The process that goes from application to admissions to registration has distinct steps, the first of which is the formal application process. Enclosed you will find application materials for Purcell Marian High School for the 2008-09 school year. Included are:

All students must apply before they can be considered for admission. The following steps must be completed before an application to Purcell Marian will be reviewed by the admissions committee:

• Complete and return the “Application for Admission” sheet .
• Applicants must submit completed records as outlined in the enclosed records release form. Without your student’s official transcript and discipline report, we cannot complete the admissions process. It is recommended that you follow up with your current school on your request for your student’s records to ensure prompt processing.
• All applicants are required to take the Scholastic Testing Service (STS) entrance test which is administered at Purcell Marian on specific dates throughout the year. There is a $25 fee for the test.

Once a student has returned the application, completed the test and submitted all required records, our admissions committee will conduct a personal interview with the prospective family. The interviews will also be administered on specific dates throughout the year. Once the admission process is completed, the Admissions office will communicate to the parents regarding the admissions committee’s decision.

If you are applying to the Student Support Services Team ( SSST) program, you must also provide a copy of the student’s current multi-factored evaluation (MFE) and a copy of the student’s current Individual Education Plan (IEP), Individual Services Plan (ISP), or the student’s current Written Accommodation Plan.  Below are the necessary forms:
