Scholarship, Grants and Financial Aid
Scholarships
Purcell Marian will offer sixty (60) renewable scholarships to members of the Class of 2013:
Brems Scholarships
Four-year renewable full-tuition scholarship (along with fees paid) to the top two scores on the Placement Test.
Four-year renewable ½ tuition scholarships to the 3rd and 4th highest scores on the Placement Test.
Praestans Scholarships
Four-year renewable ½ tuition scholarships to students who score at the 90th percentile and above on the Placement Test.
Merit Scholarships
Four-year renewable $1,800 scholarships for students who score between the 85th and 89th percentile on the Placement Test.
Leadership Scholarships
Four-year renewable $1,500 scholarships to students who do not qualify for academic scholarships or the Catholic Student Grant, but who demonstrate strong academic achievement and leadership in and outside of the classroom. Priority will be given to legacy students.

Catholic Student Achievement Grant Program
Purcell Marian High School is committed to making high school tuition more affordable to middle-income Catholic families. Catholic Student Achievement Grants will be awarded to current eighth grade students who enroll at Purcell Marian and who meet the criteria listed below. (Note: Achievement Grants will not be available to current students.)
Eligibility for Catholic Student Achievement Grants:
Middle-income families whose household income does not exceed $110,000.
Students must be prepared for a college prep program of study and score at least at the 50th percentile, but not above the 84th percentile, on the High School Placement Test.
The family must be an active member of an Archdiocese of Cincinnati Parish and be acknowledged as such by the Parish Pastor.
Achievement Grants
Students who meet the above criteria will receive a one-year, renewable Catholic Student Tuition Grant of $1,800.
General Discounts
Parish Affiliation
If a family is a member of an Archdiocese of Cincinnati Parish and is acknowledged as such by the Parish Pastor, the student will receive the Parish Affiliation Discount of $400.
Multiple Child Tuition Reduction
A tuition reduction of $2,000 is given to families for each student enrolled at Purcell Marian beyond the first student. (Note: Students who qualify for and accept a Catholic Student Achievement Grant will not receive the Multiple Child Tuition Reduction discount.)
Financial Aid
Purcell Marian High School provides a significant amount of need-based financial aid which is determined by an independent analysis of a family’s ability to pay tuition. Please contact the Business Office at (513)487-3134 for more information.
OhioEducational Choice Scholarship Program
Purcell Marian is participating in the State of Ohio's Educational Choice Scholarship Program, more commonly referred to as the "Voucher Program." The initial step to take advantage of this program is to submit an application for admission and be formally admitted to Purcell Marian.
