2007 Holiday Clothes Drive
It’s almost that time of year to put your summer clothes away to make room for winter! As you are making the transition from summer to winter, any clothing or other items that you might not need anymore can be put to great use! Instead of throwing away gently used clothes that are just taking up space in your closet, donate them to the 2007 Purcell Marian High School Clothes Drive!
Not only will you be making room in your house but you will be helping those less fortunate. We are more than happy to store items here until the Giveaway – so if you are cleaning out closets this weekend and find items to donate just let us know and we will take them off your hands right away!
Please call Jen Meinking at 487-3116 if you have anything that you would like to donate. We will come to your house (if you live in the general area) and pick it up for you or make arrangements if you wish to drop off your donation! We will be collecting clothing and other items until school dismisses for Thanksgiving Break.
Please help Purcell Marian High School as we try to provide clothes and other items for those in need. We are collecting clean clothes, blankets, towels, toys, dishes, accessories, shoes, etc. for the “Holiday Giveaway” at Purcell Marian High School on Saturday, November 24, 2007. Please give generously! Items of great need are: winter jackets, hats, gloves, long pants, sweaters, sweat pants, sweat shirts, long underwear, baby clothes, blankets, etc. but items from every season is welcome…also needed are large unused garbage bags for the people coming through to carry their items.
The students at Purcell Marian High School will also be running a Canned Food Drive in conjunction with the Clothing Drive. As you are doing your grocery shopping keep us in mind and pick up a few non-perishable items for the Canned Food Drive.
