ABOUT MR. DOWDY
D.J. Dowdy is a native of Akron and worked with Mr. Farfsing at DePaul Cristo Rey, before coming to Purcell Marian. He joined the Cavaliers athletic department in 2017 and became the full-time Athletic Director in 2019. In his spare time, D.J. loves music, spending time with friends and family, and trying new foods/restaurants in the Queen City. Dowdy is a 2012 graduate of North High School. He earned his degree in sports administration from UC in 2016. Dowdy played football at the University of Cincinnati and was voted a team captain during his senior season.
