Andrea has been teaching Spanish for 33 years and has her bachelor’s in Spanish from Xavier and her master’s in Spanish Literature from the University of Cincinnati. . After 31 years of public school teaching, she decided to come to Purcell Marian where she could live her Catholic values and share her faith with her students. She lives in Delhi with her husband, two teenage sons, two dogs, and a bird. She considers her PM students and staff her extended family and says, “I love to see my students grow in their abilities to communicate with others. Without communication and understanding, there is no way to share the message of Jesus Christ.” If Andrea wasn’t teaching, she would like to retire and do volunteer work.
