Ann started her career about 30 years ago in the high school classroom teaching English and history. After seven years of teaching, she returned to the student role at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. After graduation, she had the great good fortune to serve as a judicial law clerk to federal court district Judge S. Arthur Spiegel for a two-year term and spent the next 12 years practicing law in Cincinnati. She enjoyed her time as an attorney, but sorely missed the classroom and was delighted with the opportunity to come back to it full-time in 2016 at PM. She also teaches paralegal classes at the University of Cincinnati Clermont and lives in College Hill with her husband, two boys, two cats, and a dog.
Ann says, “ If I could not teach, I would love to work for a nonprofit helping marginalized people find sustainable jobs. Good jobs are the path to a good future and allow people to break the cycle of poverty for generations to come.”
