International Baccalaureate provides the framework, while our Marianist identity shapes the culture, priorities, and implementation of the program. IB informed instruction is skill-based rather than centered on content recall. We focus on what students do with what they know – how they interpret it, apply it, connect it, and use it to develop a new understanding.

Colleges and universities recognize the rigor of the program as well, often awarding college credit for successful performance in IB courses. In Ohio, recent legislation has strengthened that value even further by guaranteeing postsecondary credit at all public universities for qualifying IB coursework.
