Charts and graphs show our growth… but they don’t tell the full story.
Annual Report
Behind every data point is a student whose life is being transformed by a Purcell Marian education.
As our enrollment continues to climb, with students from across Greater Cincinnati choosing Purcell Marian, families are making sacrifices of time, travel, and tuition because they believe what happens here on Hackberry Street matters.
Your support of the Annual Fund makes that possible.
Take, for example, Makenzie, the Class of 2025 Valedictorian and second-
As a Mother Theresa Catholic Elementary School graduate, she also followed in the footsteps of her sisters, Alicia and Caitlin, Class of 2021 Co-Valedictorians, and chose to attend Purcell Marian.
Like her older sisters, Makenzie made the thirty-one-minute commute to school from her home in Liberty Township every day because she and her family believed the values and mission of a Purcell Marian education were worth the drive.
Her younger sister, Sara, continues the family tradition as a member of the Class of 2029!
While a student at Purcell Marian, Makenzie earned the prestigious International Baccalaureate Diploma, was a member of the state championship girls basketball team, a varsity soccer player, traveled abroad for service learning opportunities, and participated in extracurriculars like Ethics Bowl and Mock Trial, all while graduating top of her class.
In her valedictorian speech, Makenzie reflected to her classmates what Purcell Marian had taught them: “We are not just graduates. We are resilient individuals shaped by our experience, ready to grow and evolve to make a difference in this world.”
This is the power of a Purcell Marian education.
And, it is the power of your gift. Students graduate not only with an education, but with resilience, character, and a calling to make our world better.
Your support of Makenzie didn’t end at graduation. Your gift helped to power her future. Today, she is a freshman at the United States Air Force Academy, studying political science and preparing to serve our country, a path she discovered and was encouraged to pursue at Purcell Marian High School.
Your gift to the 2025–2026 Annual Fund ensures that stories like Makenzie’s continue.
Every dollar directly impacts our students by sustaining rigorous academics, faith formation, service opportunities, athletics and the excellence that defines Purcell Marian. Students are counting on your support.

DYK?: Less than 5% of all living alumni from our five historic schools supported the Annual Fund last year.
If you value the education you received from St. Mary, Regina, Purcell, Marian, or Purcell Marian, a gift in any amount is critical to the futures of students today.
