Our Construction and Engineering class attended the ACI Construction Career Days event at the Warren County Fairgrounds.

With 100 highly interactive, experiential commercial construction exhibitors, the event showcased the diverse facets of the construction environment, enabling students to experience a range of trades while engaging with the area’s top employers, educators, trade schools, and apprenticeship programs - perfectly complementing the PM 3E (Enrollment, Employment, Enlistment) Guarantee, which empowers all students to achieve their full potential.

Just one week in, and our new President, Dr. Ted Whapham, has already made his mark at Purcell Marian!

Here’s how he kicked off his first week as a Cavalier:

🔴 Welcomed students and parents with the Cavalier
🔵 Jumped into classrooms & even joined IB Theory of Knowledge discussions
🟡 Grabbed Skyline with alums at our local Alumni-owned location (a true Cincinnati rite of passage!)
🔴 Shared lunch and laughs with our Faculty & Staff
🔵 Connected with our Marianist neighbors at St. Francis De Sales
🟡 Passed out some cookie bribes to our students at lunch
✨ Celebrated our record-breaking Grand Event with alumni and donors

Check out the amazing real-world impact our Cavalier Scholars Program is making outside of the classroom!

Cavalier Scholars students took a trip to Jungle Jim's International Market to explore global foods and learn how food connects to culture, sustainability, and access. They then prepared dishes from around the world and shared them with the broader school community, bringing global learning home.

All of this is in preparation for international service trips in 2026 and 2027, where they’ll work directly with communities on food access and sustainability efforts.
