Showcasing the creative talents of students of Pur

Showcasing the creative talents of students of Purcell Marian High School, this year’s Grand Event included a Student Art Exhibition. The exhibition provided a platform for our talented artists to share their unique perspectives, innovative ideas, and artistic achievements with our alumni audience.

Through various mediums, styles, and themes, the exhibition celebrated the diversity and creativity inherent in young artists at Purcell Marian High School. Many of the works on display were a part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Art Program.

IB programs are renowned for their rigorous academic standards and holistic approach to education. Within these programs, the visual arts play a crucial role in nurturing creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking skills among high school students. Through the IB art curriculum, students are encouraged to explore diverse mediums, techniques, and concepts, fostering a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them.

Student Council President and International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidate Carson Hall '24 addressed our guests at the Grand Event about his time at Purcell Marian. Carson will study in Paris next year, using his IB credits to accelerate his graduation pathway and allow him to complete his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in just four years.

We are proud to announce the Purcell Marian Class

We are proud to announce the Purcell Marian Class of 2024 valedictorian Luke Schomaker and salutatorian Katie Slamkowski!

Luke, an IB Diploma Candidate, graduated from Nativity and is finalizing his college choice.

Katie is a graduate of the Montessori Academy of Cincinnati and will attend Berry College.
