Pathways to College and Careers – PM JUNIORS

JUNIORS and FAMILIES Please plan to attend a workshop in the Center for College and Careers on Tuesday, May 7, at 6 p.m. We will cover the following: The education opportunities under the umbrella term of “college”, How to use this summer to prepare for next year, Letters of recommendation and college essays, Glossary of terms important to the college admission process, Timeline of college application and admission process, Applying to a college in real time, Paying for college, Registering for ACT; and The importance of college visits. Space is limited, so please RSVP as soon as possible to Emily LaForge at elaforge@purcellmarian.org. Attendance of both the student and a parent/guardian are required. A follow-up email to all who RSVP will be sent out with important information about what to expect and what you will need to bring with you.
