Praestans Inter Omnes: Jim Hayes ’88

May 8, 2020
Purcell Marian High School is recognizing our alumni, students, and family working on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis. Today we highlight St. Elizabeth Supply Chain Operations Manager Jim Hayes '88. If you would like to share your story or the story of somebody within our Purcell Marian family who is currently working through these challenging times, please send them to info@purcellmarian.org.

"I’m flattered about the recognition, but I would much prefer it to be given to our supply chain team rather than myself.

Our group of supply chain specialists, dispatch techs, and drivers have been working tirelessly through days, evenings, and weekends over the last two months. The on-call schedules have gone beyond even our normal 24/7 care. They’ve done everything possible to ensure our ICU units and the COVID transitioned units within St Elizabeth Healthcare have all the PPE needed to provide quality care for our patients. All while also ensuring other departments within our system don’t miss a heartbeat in our slogan ‘I’m Right Here’, by delivering needed supplies for all the NKY birthing mothers and other non-COVID needs.

I couldn’t be prouder of them during this challenging time of vital supply shortages.

P.S. Please note the attached pic was taken before all the COVID craziness and social distancing … of course!"
