Amarriah, Class of 2026
I believe my education at Purcell Marian has helped me to grow not just academically, but personally as well. During my years at Purcell Marian, I’ve had teachers who challenged me to dig deeper and pushed me to do more than what was expected.
This has helped me to become more confident in my abilities. I've also learned a lot from my peers by hearing perspectives that made me rethink my own ideas. Like my teachers, my peers have also challenged me to think more critically and develop my academic skills. It wasn't always easy. Throughout high school, there were moments when I struggled, but those experiences taught me resilience, persistence, and problem-solving.
Now I feel prepared for the future because of the integral, quality education at Purcell Marian. I've developed both critical thinking skills and a better understanding of myself.
Amarriah is enrolled at the University of Cincinnati, studying Business.
