This year, students in the International Baccalaur This year, students in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Theory of Knowledge (TOK) course welcomed Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval for an engaging classroom conversation.

Through exploring different ways of knowing and perspectives, TOK helps students develop critical thinking skills and learn to evaluate complex issues from multiple viewpoints.

The visit offered students a valuable opportunity to connect classroom concepts with real-world leadership. By engaging directly with a public official and examining how knowledge and perspective influence decisions, TOK students experienced firsthand the type of thoughtful inquiry that defines the course.

🌟Shining on Center Stage!🎭 Intro to Theater camp 🌟Shining on Center Stage!🎭

Intro to Theater camp closed out its week with a shining performance of one-act plays and dances that displayed everything they learned and let them shine on center stage!

Campers learned the basics of character development, improv, and physical theater. They explored their creative sides and experienced the world of production.
Purcell Marian mourns the passing of Mr. Robert Ko Purcell Marian mourns the passing of Mr. Robert Konkoly, a beloved longtime member of the Purcell and Purcell Marian faculty.

Mr. Konkoly started at Purcell High School as a math and physics teacher but made his mark on the Castle with his instrumental role in helping to establish our trailblazing special education program, the first of its kind in a Cincinnati Catholic School. For decades, he worked alongside Bro. Bob Politi and, later, Karen Matuszek, in forming the program that eventually became Purcell Marian's Center for Student Support Services (CS3). He also coached football, wrestling, and tennis.

We pray that the shadows of death be transformed into the dawn of life, and that the sadness and sorrow of all who mourn him be turned into the light and peace of God's presence.

Service arrangements will be set later this month.
Food, fellowship, and an opportunity to connect wi Food, fellowship, and an opportunity to connect with current and former members of the program, all for the low, low cost of $free.

The Purcell Marian Football Team invites all football alumni, families, staff, and supporters to join them on Wednesday, July 22, at 6 pm for the 3rd Annual Purcell Marian Football Cookout at Staubach Stadium.
